North Florida Therapy Services provides therapy that is individualized, child-centered, and family-focused. Behavior analysts develop meaningful programs using evidence-based procedures to teach skills that will enhance your child’s opportunities for success at home, school, and in the community. The length and frequency of sessions will depend upon your child’s needs.
All learners are different, and your BCBA may see a need for increasing or decreasing therapy hours. As your child develops new skills and prosocial behaviors, their therapy hours will be reduced until they no longer need support. Clinical staff will develop and implement treatment plans to help clients achieve the most effective outcomes possible.
Family involvement is integral to any successful ABA intervention. At North Florida Therapy Services, we provide training on using behavioral procedures at home and in the community for all caregivers. Our BCBAs work one-on-one with family members to ensure your child uses their skills and prosocial behaviors in their natural environment, not just in the clinic.
Your BCBA will be readily available to discuss your concerns and ideas. You’ll have team meetings once every 4 to 6 weeks to discuss your child’s progress and the trajectory of their intervention.
