ABA Therapy is widely regarded as the most effective treatment and teaching model for children with autism.
It is
specifically recommended by:
- American Academy of Neurology
- U.S. Surgeon General
- American Family of Pediatrics
- Autism Society of America
- American Psychological Association
- National Institute of Child Health and Human Development
- And Many More!
How Much Therapy Is Appropriate?
At North Florida Therapy Services, ABA therapy is individualized, child-centered, and family-focused. Our
Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) design meaningful programs using evidence-based procedures to enhance your
child’s success at home, school, and in the community.
- Therapy length and frequency depend on your child’s unique needs.
- Hours may increase or decrease as your child develops new skills and prosocial behaviors.
- As progress is made, therapy hours are gradually reduced until support is no longer needed.
- Clinical staff continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans to achieve the most effective outcomes.
Parent Involvement
Family involvement is integral to every successful ABA intervention. We provide caregiver training to ensure skills are
practiced at home and in the community—not just in the clinic.
- BCBAs work one-on-one with family members to reinforce strategies.
- Team meetings are held every 4–6 weeks to review progress and adjust goals.
- Caregivers are encouraged to share concerns and ideas throughout the process.
